Academic-Nonprofit Partnership for Public Health: Document Analysis and Systematization of the Implementation of a Multi-Jurisdictional Long COVID Surveillance Platform. Journal of Public Health Management & Practice, 2025.
My research focuses on the use of established epidemiological and public health methods to optimize health-related outcomes ranging from the implementation of academic-nonprofit partnerships to establish longitudinal cohorts to assess the burden of COVID-19 to the application of behavioral economics principles to optimize HIV-related outcomes. In both cases, multidisciplinary approaches linking medicine, public health, population health, epidemiology, economics, business administration, management, etc. have been applied to lead to the development and implementation of evidence-based solutions to pressing health issues affecting local and global communities.
