The R.I.S.E. (Research, Inquiry, Service, and Engagement) Summit is a free, day-long gathering designed to bring together IU Indianapolis students, faculty, staff, and community members for dialogue, learning, and collaboration around today’s most pressing challenges. This annual summit creates space for participants and partners to exchange knowledge, share creative projects, and highlight innovative approaches to research and engagement that make a lasting impact in our communities and beyond.
By weaving together academic inquiry, service, and lived experience, the Summit emphasizes the value of connecting campus and community through collaboration, shared goals, and practical problem-solving.
With the theme of "From Inquiry to Impact: Embracing Change Together" attendees will co-curate knowledge sharing around different topics through workshops, speakers, and discussions. This event focuses on student- and practitioner-led, community-centric, knowledge sharing.
The R.I.S.E. Summit will be held in the IU Indianapolis Campus Center on March 27, 2026.
