Understanding Organizations: Interpreting Organizational Communication Culture

My research emphasized communication processes in organizations, groups, teams, and society. That led to increasing interest studying challenging situations--social conflict, group conflict, organizational change. In turn, that led to academic leadership where I practiced what we taught, and then advocating for university-community engagement for the success of students, faculty, and staff--as well as our community.
