Who Gives & Why: Employing Giver Types to Improve Fundraising Practices
My research has been utilized by The Fundraising School to educate fundraising practitioners on how to be more representative of the diverse array of charitable donors in the U.S. The research draws upon nationally representative survey and in-depth interview data to evidence-based. My data-informed research is situated at the intersection of philanthropy and human-centered computing, both of which are multi-disciplinary schools. I am committed to translating my research for a broad audience, which is why I have published books and communicated with media to spread the benefits of my knowledge creation to a wide set of users.
